New to 2020 – Upgraded BreatherQuilt Insulation
Previously, all installers who used BreatherQuilt also had to use Thermaseal Double Sided Tape. YBS are continually looking to make product improvements, and so during recent testing they opted to install built-in double sided tape! Meaning installers / customers no longer have to purchase this seperately.
The top 11th layer on YBS BreatherQuilt is a perforated breather membrane. The outer membrane has also seen an improvement in its weight. It has improved by over 10%, to 125 gram. This results in better durability and tear resistance.

Why choose BreatherQuilt?
YBS BreatherQuilt is a 2-in-1 Insulating Breathable Multifoil. Mainly installed over rafter on pitched roofs, BreatherQuilt replaces the requirement for a traditional membrane. All layers are perforated, allowing the roof structure to breathe.
BreatherQuilt is only 7mm when installed, taking up minimal space.
It has a true aluminium foil on the internal, and equates to around 55mm of installed PIR Insulation.
Our multi-layered blanket is also made in the UK.
