At just 1mm thick, this reflective insulation membrane is fully certified for use in roofs, walls, and floors, delivering exceptional thermal efficiency without sacrificing valuable internal space.

Exceptional Thermal Performance
For projects requiring compliance with Building Regulations, Foil-Tec Single offers a certified R-Value of 0.74 m²K/W when used in wall applications. This thermal performance is equivalent to approximately 32mm of mineral wool insulation, despite being only 1mm thick.
Installation Guidance
For optimum performance, we recommend using Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape to seal all joints and overlaps. Proper taping ensures the product functions effectively as a vapour control layer.
To maximise its reflective properties, Foil-Tec Single should be installed facing an air cavity, with a service cavity and plasterboard positioned on the internal side.
Versatile Applications
Foil-Tec Single can be used as a standalone insulation membrane in floor applications and is frequently combined with SuperQuilt Multifoil Insulation to further enhance thermal performance throughout the building envelope.
