Installation Recommendations
For best results, we recommend installing Foil-Tec Double with Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape. Properly taping and sealing all joints ensures the product performs effectively as a vapour control layer.
To maximise thermal performance, the reflective surface should face an air cavity, followed by a service cavity and plasterboard on the internal side.
Suitable for Multiple Applications
Foil-Tec Double can be used as a standalone insulation membrane for floor applications and is frequently installed alongside SuperQuilt Multifoil Insulation to further enhance thermal performance throughout the building envelope.
