Water Tank Insulation Kit

We have created a DIY kit the Water Tank Insulation Kit, specifically for insulating a water tank to maximise heat retention, prevent freezing, and reduce energy costs.

The insulation used within this kit is EcoQuilt Expert and it works in two ways. It slows down any heat transfer due to the layers that make up the insulation. Due to the reflective foil layers on both sides of the insulation. The internal layer of insulation will reflect heat into the water tank and the external layer will reflect he cold away from the water tank.

For outdoor applications, we recommend battening the exterior of the foil before installing a cladding. This cladding will protect the exterior foil, resulting in an insulation system that is likely to last the lifetime of the tank.
