How to Insulate Your Hot Tub – Step-by-Step Guide
1. Measure Your Hot Tub’s Perimeter
2. Measure the Height
- Most tubs are between 70cm–100cm high. If yours exceeds 1.2m, please contact us.
3. Cut the Multifoil Insulation
4. Remove Side Panels
- Unscrew the panels carefully. Avoid removing corner panels unless necessary.
5. Install the Multifoil Insulation
- Tuck the insulation behind corner strips and at the top and bottom edges to minimise air leaks.
6. Cut Around Obstructions
- Leave access for control panels or pipework by cutting carefully around these areas.
7. Overlap and Seal
- Overlap the insulation slightly and use the Thermaseal Foil Tape to create a continuous airtight layer.
8. Reassemble and Enjoy
- Replace the panels, secure them, and enjoy your warmer, more energy-efficient hot tub!
